weekly blog time! well not really... it would actually be time on wednesday, but i wanna do these every monday, so shh... don't mind that it's technically two days shy of a full week...

anyway~ a bit of an eventful week, this one! 

my friend came by to watch trashy tv with me, and we had a really great time!! we caught up on his family drama, ate some pot roast i made, and settled in to watch what has become my lastest obsession: tempation island! and yes, before you tell me how stupid that show is, boy am i aware of it... it's so genuinely idotic and rage inducing, yet i couldn't look away!! i watched one and a half episodes on my own before i turned it off, and rang my friend up to come watch it with me because good lord... (눈_눈) apologies for any season 1 spoilers, but tyler and grant are SO sinister to me. i genuinely cannot stand them.

for anyone unfamiliar with the show and who doesn't care to check it out themselves, the premise of the show is that four couple basically move onto an island where they're each split off into two villas; so the women in one, the men in another. then they're introduced to the "tempters" and "temptresses," and obviously their goal is to... tempt the people in the relationships! so the tempters move in with the women, and the temptresses move in with the men. the couples go on there to basically "test" their relationships, and it's just a hotbed for drama and nonsense!! i don't think a history of infedelity is required to be on the show, but 3/4 couples in season 1 did indeed have a history.

the mature part of me wants to take a more grown up approach to this... alright, i guess cheating doesn't have to end a relationship. plenty of people are people to move on and rebuild, right? but then i see people like tyler and grant, and that just goes completely out the window!! ARGHHH!!!

i already think you have to be a very specific type of person, and be in a very specific type of relationship, to go on a show like this, and that already throws any attempt at maturity aside. tyler is 100% a narcassist in my eyes, and grant looks like an actual thumb. both of them were just jonesing to cheat on their girlfriends... BARF. i think they are such genuinely despicable human beings, and i really hope their girlfriends decide to go all in with a tempter of their choice soon, because they truly deserve it! i'm truly hoping for someone to get together with chris, because i very much enjoy him, hehe~ get some, ladies~~!

alright, enough about my reality tv escapades! it's 5 days to my birthday~! my family, friend, and i are gonna go out to eat, then we're gonna have cake at home~ very simple, lowkey situation, but it's exactly what i wanna do. ^^ my aquatic plants for my fish tank should be coming that day, so i think i'll have some other friends come by and help me set up my fish tank!! i took a picture of my supplies and planned to post it here, but i think i'll save it for a dedicated post about my fish. ^^

speaking of, though, i really can't decide if i want a koi betta or a halfmoon betta... i just love how koi bettas look, that pattern is just so beautiful... but the long fins on a halfmoon betta are equally as gorgeous! i think i'll just wait and see which ones they have at the pet store, and i'll see which one "speaks to me," lol~ i'll be sure to take plenty of photos when i get them!

in other news, i drove for the first time in so long yesterday!! i haven't even sat behind the wheel since i moved, but my grandpa offered to teach me how to drive once i got my permit here. i didn't even plan to drive that day, but i'm really glad i did~ the roads here are so different than what i'm used to, and i like them a lot more. i think i'll definitely be driving in no time!! i still have a few months before i can take the driving test, so i'm planning to really lock in!!

okay, i think i've yapped enough for this week! i think my next gyaru blog is going to be a crash course on banba, since i recently found some really interested resources that i'm dying to share~! so please look forward to that~ ^^ i'll be back next week!! (´ ε ` )♡
