whew!! what a week!! i'm glad it's finally the weekend~
btw, the picture is from my friend's tomodachi life island~ our miis went on a double date, and we're both in flourishing relationships with nanami from jjk and toffee from svtfoe respectively, lol! i hope you guys think it's as cute as i do~!okok, onto business...
my uni classes started on monday... wahhhh!! it feels so weird not being able to just goof off all day, i offically turned my homework alarms/reminders back on to hopefully train myself to realize it's school time, lol. i have some classes with weird due dates, which i'm not buzzing about... one class has the work due at 12pm, and one has work due at 12:59 because of a time difference. BARF. give me back my trusty 155:59 deadlines!! i am used to those!!! i'm not so mad about the class with the 12:59 deadlines, i know that's literally just due to a time difference with the college, but i think the prof with the noon deadlines might just be evil. jury is still out, but she's done things already that have irked me, so i dunno... overall, though, i'm happy with my courses, and i'm excited to graduate in a few months! please cheer for me!!
now that classes are back on, it's starting to feel less and less like summer... but i'm refusing to let it go!! i'm debating changing my blog's theme with the seasons, but i recently got a comment that has encouraged me to possibly keep it a 24/7 tropical paradise (ty eugeneee, xo)~ we'll see how i cope with the changing seasons, lol. i do like fall, it used to be my favorite season, but i'm just a hardcore summer fan now! i'm positive i'll warm up to the onset of fall once i see the leaves start changing. i love when they change colors and start falling; it makes the world feel so warm to me for some reason! it's like there's a constant warm, cozy filter over everything once the leaves get pretty~ i also love the asmr factor of all the crunchiness when you walk, hehe~ what's everyone's favorite color of leaf, btw? i love a classic orange leaf, but i really love bright red ones as well!
my older sister is visiting for the weekend, so my other sisters, cousin, sister-in-law, and i are going to have a craft day tomorrow! my sister ordered some of these crystal pendant/charm things off of etsy, and we're gonna make necklaces and keychains! i'll post some photos of what i end up making~ we're also planning to tie-dye some shirts, and i'm taking it entirely too seriously, and i'm determined to make something super cool!! i have a ton of ideas saved on pinterest, so i'm excited to see if i can execute my vision irl, lol~ my sister-in-law always brings my baby nephew with her to see us, so we're gonna make a shirt for him too!! i think it's gonna be so adorable *sob* i'll try to post pics of the shirt i make too, unless it turns out really awful and i get embarrassed xD... stay tuned!
speaking of my baby nephew, they visited us today, and we hung out all afternoon~ whenever i see him, i get a new, more aggressive case of baby fever, and i genuinely feel insane, lol! to outsiders, we all probably look crazy and boring, just staring at a baby crawl around and play, but he's actually so entertaining! it's so cool to watch him just do his thing; my original major was education, so i did hella child development classes, and whenever he does something new i'm constantly like, "i remember that from my textbooks!!" i'm really glad i switched out of education, but it's funny that these things have still stuck with me, lol. anyway, i'm now extremely worn out from playing with my nephew and yapping with everyone, and i cannot wait to do it again tomorrow!! i'm honestly not really one of those hardcore "family is everything, blood is thicker than water" types of people (fuck a whole bunch of my family members, actually), but nothing beats hanging out with the family i love being around~
i want nothing more than to watch some asmr videos on tiktok and doze off right now, so i think i'll wrap this up here~ let's talk again soon~ xoxo

i really dislike time differences!!! all assignments due at 11:59pm or nothing, lol. changing the default is a lot to get accustomed to, so i hope it isn't too stressful on you. also, huge congratulations on your upcoming graduation!! :D
i loveee the summer theme~ i pretty much associate you with summertime now bc of it, hehe. i love orange and red leaves too! i think my favorites are red ones. they're so vibrant and beautiful. and crunching on the leaves is so much funnn!!
i hope you guys had fun doing crafts ^_^ i've never tie-dyed a shirt before, how would you describe the difficulty? and the baby tie-dye shirt sounds so adorable.. TT
i love love love babies!!! playing with them, talking with them, and watching them do baby stuff is so oddly entertaining. i always feel so sad when i feel like a baby doesn't really care for me bc i take their approval so seriously!! hanging out with family you feel comfortable and happy around is so important, and i'm glad to hear you guys had fun.

the crafts were so much fun!! tie dying is definitely very easy, there's tons of tutorials and designs to follow, and even if you decide to just wing it, it's impossible for your design to look bad!! i definitely highly recommend giving it a shot~ i'll try to post some photos of the baby shirt i did, i was definitely unbelievably adorable (T_T) i think it will look so cute on my nephew!!
